AFSC Iowa is currently focused on working with immigrants in Central Iowa to help build a sense of community so that new immigrants will be able to participate in the political processes in their communities. In collaboration with immigrant and immigrant-ally organizations, AFSC is educating and organizing for comprehensive immigration reform. AFSC Iowa's Legal Services Program helps hundreds of immigrants and refugees from dozens of countries each year.

Drake SJP works in solidarity with the struggle of the indigenous Palestinian people against apartheid and occupation. In addition to organizing protests, memorials, and other events that attempt to visualize the Palestinian struggle, we organize frequent educational events that give a voice to the Palestinian narrative as well as highlight the plight of the Palestinian people under Israeli aggression.
The Franciscan Peace Center (formerly Center for Active Nonviolence and Peacemaking) was created as means for integrating Franciscan spirituality with the mission of promoting active nonviolence and peacemaking, as well as advocating for social justice issues and care for the earth. Most recently, the Center has focused on nuclear disarmament, immigration reform, the death penalty, poverty, environmental concerns, and active nonviolence.
